Jayne was a Police Officer with Wiltshire Police for 30 years before retiring in 2016. Jayne had always had an interest in looking after people and helping them to look and feel good about themselves and as a single mum of two girls she fully understood how hard it was to juggle life / work balance and how hard it could be to take time out for herself. It was this that drove Jayne forward in her dream of having a business of her own where she could offer not just treatments but a beautiful calm surroundings in which to enjoy the treatment and get the most out of the time you are giving yourself.
In order to prepare for retirement, and while still employed full-time Jayne trained in numerous massage and beauty treatments via the Carlton Institute of Beauty in Windsor completing her courses in 2007.
Initially, Jayne had a business “Pampered Ladies” based in a fully equipped room at her home address. Unfortunately, due to illness, Jayne decided to give up Pampered Ladies in 2012 to concentrate on her own recovery and spending time with her girls.
Having retired from the Police in October 2016 and after much deliberation, Jayne decided that it was time to go back into the wellness industry. Jayne initially worked at Wadswick Green Spa using the Espa and OPI range of products, but soon moved on to Woolley Grange Spa in Bradford On Avon where She retrained using the Elemis Professional and Jessica products.
Once back in the industry Jayne realised just how much She had missed helping others to feel good about themselves. Working at both Wadswick and Woolley for the last 19 months give Jayne a great insight into the Spa industry, and she gained invaluable experience in knowing what works and what doesn’t. With that in mind Jayne has built Serenity on all of the positive things that she knows to work.
Jayne is now ready to step into the business world again and she is a great believer in the surroundings and atmosphere of the space where you carry out your treatments are as important as the treatment itself. Jayne believes in a quiet, calm where you can switch off completely which isn’t something that is very accessible to us because our lives are always noisy and fast-paced.
Jayne believes in quality above anything else and this is very important to her.
